The riot being conducted in Buffalo last night resulted in the serious injury of a state trooper and a police officer after an SUV, driven at high speeds deliberately tried to murder them.
According to officials, two officers were hit by a vehicle and injured. Police say the “injuries appear serious in nature.”
The officers have been transported to Erie County Medical Center.
According to Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz on social media, one officer is a member of Buffalo Police and the other is from New York State Police. He says the driver and passengers of the vehicle are in custody.
The @ErieCountyNY Departments of @ErieCountyESU, Central Police Services and @ECSONY1 are monitoring the incident on Bailey Avenue in Buffalo in which two officers were struck by a vehicle. It is by understanding the driver and passengers of the vehicle are in custody.

According to NYSP, their officer is hospitalized with “serious but non-life threatening injuries.”

Police say two people have been struck by gunfire also.
The public is urged to avoid the area.
