(Reuters) – Capgemini said on Thursday it expects its full-year results at the top end of its guidance, after the French IT consulting firm posted a rise in quarterly revenues driven by demand for cloud, data and artificial intelligence services.
In July, the company forecast revenue growth of between 14 and 15% at constant currency and an operating margin of 12.9% to 13.1% for the full year.
“Given this very good Q3 performance, we now feel comfortable with the top end of our growth outlook for 2022,” chief executive Aiman Ezzat said in a statement.
The results come amid growing fears that an economic slowdown could dent IT budgets after gloomy results from tech giants Alphabet Inc and Microsoft Corp.
Revenue came in at 5.55 billion euros ($15.80 billion) in the third quarter, up 15.7% year-on-year at constant exchange rates compared to 4.55 billion euros a year earlier.
