Conservative Radio Hosts Ordered To Stop Reporting On Factual Election Rig

Conservative radio hosts have been ordered to stop reporting on the massive amounts of evidence of voter fraud.

Forbes reported:

Cumulus Media, a radio broadcasting company that’s home to several top conservative personalities, instructed its right-leaning hosts to stop spouting false claims about the election being “rigged” or be terminated, a move that comes amid a sea change in corporate America in the wake of the Capitol takeover, though some hosts are claiming they never received the memo.

Key Facts

“We need to help induce national calm NOW,” Brian Philips, the executive vice president of content for Cumulus, wrote in an internal memo to employees Wednesday, which was first reported by Inside Music Media and the Washington Post, as the pro-Trump rioters stormed the Capitol.

The company “will not tolerate any suggestion that the election has not ended,” Philips went on, adding, “The election has been resolved and there are no alternate acceptable ‘paths.’”

In the memo, Philips writes that if an employee breaks this policy, “you can expect to separate from the company immediately.”

Cumulus Media, which owns more than 400 radio stations across the country, including WMAL in Washington and KABC in Los Angeles, is home to prominent conservative hosts such as Mark Levin, Ben Shapiro and Dan Bongino.

In a statement to Forbes on Monday, Shapiro said he never received the memo from Cumulus and was not one of their employees, adding he had “never failed to accept the result of the election.”

Levin, Bongino and Cumulus did not respond to Forbes’ request for comment Monday.

Key Background

Nearly the entire conservative media apparatus stood behind President Donald Trump as he falsely claimed the election was “rigged” against him. Hosts such as Levin and Bongino have repeatedly parroted some of Trump’s spurious claims on stations owned by Cumulus. Shapiro was against the electoral challenge, though he has said “serious allegations of voting irregularity” should be investigated.

Crucial Quote

During his radio show the day of the Capitol siege, Bongino falsely claimed Democrats had tried to “steal” the election and called lawmakers who weren’t backing the challenge “weak.” Levin, who also hosts a television show on Fox News, told radio listeners on his show one day before the march on the Capitol that lawmakers who were voting to certify President-elect Joe Biden’s victory were committing an act of “tyranny,” according to the Washington Post

Tangent

Major companies such as Marriott International and Blue Cross Blue Shield have announced they will suspend donations to Republican candidates who objected to the election results in the aftermath of Wednesday’s Capitol riot.

No mention of the Italian affidavit, which was sent to Congress the day before it ‘certified’ the election results, that included testimony from a firsthand whistleblower concerning the election rig (how votes were electronically removed from President Trump and given to Joe Biden) was mentioned.
