I’ve been exposing the shocking developments at the Doha Forum all weekend. And if you haven’t noticed yet, the underlying truth of the event is far more disturbing than any one speech or faux agreement. The Doha Forum is functioning as a global power hub for terrorists, anti-American ideologues, Islamist propagandists, and compromised Western officials, all under Qatari control.
At the Forum, Former Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif, Iran’s lead negotiator for the failed nuclear deal, who has been sanctioned by the Trump administration, launched into an angry tirade attacking President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s America First foreign policy.
Zarif, John Kerry’s best friend in the Middle East, openly complained that Europe had “shot itself in the foot” by supporting Trump’s Iran strategy. The same Europe that has had massive problems with Islamists overrunning cities across the continent and committing atrocities, from running over Christians at German Christmas markets to bombing French trains and English buses and gunning down concert-goers in Paris.
Shockingly, figures such as former Acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker and U.S. Ambassador to Turkey Tom Barrack were present at the Forum. Their presence raises urgent questions:
- Did they understand the national-security risk?
- Did they know they were likely being surveilled by Qatar and Iran?
- Why were members of a GOP, America First administration attending a forum filled with America’s enemies?
Doha is not a safe territory. Qatar is known for spying on visiting diplomats, journalists, and political operatives, so why walk directly into their trap?
Later on, Qatar-linked journalist Barak Ravid published a fabricated story claiming Israel and Qatar were working toward a new partnership. Israeli officials immediately denied it, calling the claim “a complete lie” designed to influence geopolitical perception. After visiting Israel several weeks ago and speaking with high-level officials, I can also confirm that this is an absolute lie.
Qatar’s objective is to weaken Israel, weaken the U.S.–Israel alliance, and elevate Hamas as a legitimate political actor.
Perhaps the most disturbing moment came when Abu Mohammed al-Julani, a former leader of both Al Qaeda and ISIS, used the Doha stage to claim the United States is “the real terrorist organization.”
This is the man whose networks killed Americans. The man whose ideology inspired 9/11. The man Qatar helped shelter. And he is now being rebranded as a “political figure” under Qatari sponsorship. Western officials should have walked out of the room, but instead, they stayed.
Qatar’s goals are unmistakable:
- Use conservative influencers to shift opinion toward Hamas-friendly positions
- Pressure U.S. negotiators to adopt Qatar’s preferred ceasefire terms
- Undermine Trump’s existing peace framework
- Secure dominance in the U.S. LNG market by neutralizing rivals
Tucker Carlson is the centerpiece of Qatar’s influence strategy. His relocation to Qatar, his on-camera defenses of Islamic governance, and his team’s downplaying of Qatar’s terrorism ties all point to a growing alignment with Qatari interests. Who knows. Maybe he’ll convert to Islam, send his kids to madrasas, and force his wife to wear the hijab. If Qatar adds another zero to whatever they’re paying him, it’s not outside the realm of possibility.
In a moment as surreal as it was dangerous, Ambassador Tom Barrack suggested Israel should not claim to be a democracy and should instead aspire to adopt a monarchy, calling it “the best form of government in the region.” This absolutely disgusting comment should be disqualifying for any official seeking to serve in the Trump administration. Israel’s thriving democracy is the only thing standing between the complete destruction of U.S. interests in the Middle East and the possibility for change in the region.
Unless Americans wake up to Qatar’s expanding influence over media, politics, and even the America First movement itself, the damage will be permanent. We will lose the midterms, and the Jihadis will once again have their hands on the levers of power in the United States.
