Katherine Schwarzenegger Torches This Year’s Met Gala

Chris Pratt’s wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, torched this year’s Met Gala in New York City with a throwback picture of when she said it was a “classy” event amid all the nude attire seen Monday night.

In an Instagram Story post on Wednesday, the 34-year-old author shared a photo of her mom Maria Shriver wearing a beautiful gown at the annual fundraiser in 2001. She captioned it, “When the Met Gala was chic and classy,” the New York Post reported.

Shriver originally shared the snap ahead of the event held Monday night at the Metropolitan Museum Of Art.

Katherine’s mom captioned her post, “It’s the first Monday in May and the Met Gala is underway! Things were a little more low key when I attended back in 2001, but I thought I would share some photos from that wonderful night.”

Not only did I get to wear this beautiful dress, but I got to attend with both my parents, as well as my cousin, Caroline,” Shriver added. “What do you think: would we rock the red carpet in these same looks tonight? [metgalaflashback].”

Pratt’s wife’s post comes amid pictures and videos from Monday’s event of models and stars like Rita Ora, Emily Ratajkowski, Doja Cat, Jennifer Lopez, and more who were basically nude.

The nudity on the red carpet at the gala was also discussed on Tuesday on “The Megyn Kelly Show” podcast, with the host saying that the days of the gala being an “A-lister” event were obviously over.

“It was all of Hollywood’s most favorite darlings. Now, it’s like a bunch of social media influencers and the Kardashians,” Kelly said. “I recognized some of the singers, but the Hollywood A-lister game is pretty much over at the Met Gala. I’ve shared before that [when she went] there were models smoking in the women’s room, and guys doing cocaine in the men’s room. Very classy. … It’s gotten no classier because last night what we had was a parade of nudity.”

“They are nudists,” she added. “It was like they forgot their clothes. The theme was ‘Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion’ and the dress code was ‘The Garden of Time’ by J.G. Ballard. I guess they went all the way back to the Garden of Eden with their clothing choices because attendees like Rita Ora, Doja Cat, Emily Ratajkowski, and Jennifer Lopez were practically naked.”

“This is putting your a*** on display in public at an event where you are supposed to be making a legitimate fashion statement,” Kelly continued. “Their statement is look at my naked a**. Look at the naked boobs. It’s degrading.”
